Each district has a Weed Coordinator. These coordinators are in charge of helping citizen manage/control noxious weeds. This data has each Weed Coordinator listed along with website and contact information for the County Weed District. The legislation that oversees the creation, maintenance, or dissolution of this type of district can be found: https://leg.mt.gov/bills/mca_toc/7_11_10.htm. The weed districts are based on county boundaries. The weed district attribute information including contact informaion and websites for this dataset was collected from the Montana Weed Control Association (MWCA):https://www.mtweed.org/weeds/weed-districts/ .
