Service Description: Image Service provides historic imagery from the mid-20th century. Images are sourced from the USGS Earth Explorer, Single Frame Archive. Image vintage ranges from 1946 to 1977. The service is intended to represent the earliest available, reasonably clear image. Data are in WGS84 Geographic Coordinate System (EPSG:4326). Spatial resolution is approximately 1-meter. Contacts: Montana State Library, geoinfo@mt.gov, and University of Montana, Numerical Terradynamic Simulation Group.
